I think you've got it right.
There is no such thing as
matter, only energy in pattern.
It's all God and we are all expressions of God in human form. As Alan Watts suggested, if you are everything, you cannot know or experience yourself. So humans play out the drama, not knowing who they really are, and God experiences him/herself.
