Angela
Angela opened California Appliance in 1983. She rented a little shop on Venice Blvd in WLA, after relatives and friends challenged her. Saying it couldn't be done!
"Who would RENT a refrigerator"?

The little business thrived, and thanks to the 1984 Olympics, got a good push, when the FBI rented all of their appliances from California Appliance. Soon Angela had to relocate to a larger shop.  And has remained there since 1985.

She saw a need and filled it. Students, corporate visitors, the movie studios, anyone that has a residence or office needs a fridge, but now, you don't have to buy one.

But she'll sell you one if you like, or a hundred!

Her largest sale (99 refrigerators) to  "The Rotary Plaza" in Culver City (A lovely retirement complex for low income seniors), was a great acomplishment.

She went up against the big boys "Sears" and "GE" and won the contract.

Now a days, Angela operates her business from her home based computer.  With the help of her terrific employees at the shop, she can  focus on promoting the business and networking with apartment managers and owners.

Getting on the internet was a priority. She foresaw future growth with an expanding market leading to higher rental volumn which means she now needs larger facilities.

Know of any good industrial space for lease or sale?
(Preferably in the Culver City area.)

Angela loves her little business, and will continue operating and expanding California Appliance.
